Contract Delivery Driver
Run scheduled pharmacy delivery routes to nursing facilities, hospitals, clinics, and patients' homes in your local market. Use your own reliable vehicle; set routes with consistent daily hours and home every night.
What you’ll do
- Pick up prescription orders at the pharmacy and verify the manifest
- Run an assigned route to facilities and patient homes within set delivery windows
- Maintain chain of custody and capture signature / barcode proof of delivery
- Handle refrigerated and controlled-substance items per procedure
- Communicate delays or issues to dispatch promptly
What we’re looking for
- Reliable, insured vehicle (car, SUV, or van depending on route)
- Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record
- Smartphone for the delivery app and dispatch communication
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Complete HIPAA and chain-of-custody training (provided)
- Able to lift and carry totes up to 40 lbs
Pay
Per-stop and per-route pay, paid twice a month (semi-monthly). Routes vary; ask dispatch for current route earnings estimates.
